If you have existing health conditions, have a weakened immune system, or are not feeling well, please remember that Bishop Fabbro has extended the dispensation from the obilgation of Sunday Mass until Easter 2020, so if you don't feel comfortable or safe please continue to use our resources to join in Mass from home.
Have you taken your temperature, is it above 37.5C or 100F?
Are you suffering form a cough or exhibiting any other symptoms?
Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms?
Have you travelled in the last 14 days?
If you can answer yes to any of these question you will be asked to return home. You can find an assessment center, take a self-assessment from home, or find out more information from the Ontario Government on COVID-19 here.
In order to accomodate a safe return, and in compliance with provincial requirements, our maximum capacity at each Mass will be reduced.
Depending on the layout of the church and in order to ensure everyone is seated 6 feet apart, this may mean we can only safely accomodate a small number of parishioners.
In order to prevent crowds for Sunday Masses, including the Saturday evening vigil, you need to save your spot by registering online. We will post the links on the Homepage and FaceBook page when they go live.
Be sure you have a confirmation email or have confirmed with Christine before you come to church or you will be turned away.
If you need help, please contact the parish office. If you know someone without internet access, please have them contact the parish office.
BRING a Face Mask & hand SANITIZER
Yes, we will all look a bit weird, but masks or face coverings are highly recommended for everyone (ages 8 and up). This mask should cover both your mouth and nose. We realize this may be uncomfortable and unusual; however, this is strongly recommended. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask.
If you are able, consider bringing a travel-sized hand sanitizer with you. There will be hand sanitizer at the church, but having your own supply may be helpful for before and after Communion. Gloves are not required.
Be patient
Mass will look different for us. Remember, none of us have been in a global pandemic before so we are all learning together how to return to some sense of normal. Please be patient with our parish leaders, with others, and with yourselves.
