Confirmation is the sacrament by which Catholics receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives them the increased ability to practice their Catholic faith in every aspect of their lives and to witness Christ in every situation.
Confirmation preparation is for learning the next steps that will lead to a better you. Preparing for Confirmation is learning how to be a disciple of Christ, because we believe that's the path to a fuller and more fulfilling life. In the Catholic faith, Confirmation is the sacrament that completes baptism by strengthening and sealing the graces bestowed at baptism.

The preparation classes will be held on Thursday evenings at the OLPH Church site ( 804 Grand Marais Rd. E) for both OLPH & Immaculate Heart Church youth beginning at 6:30 pm. We will begin in February 6, 2025 .

Our youth are actively involved in the parish life throughout their preparation.
Candidates will be put into small groups of four to six youth which will be led by leaders/catechists, trained for this ministry. More than just learning about Confirmation, over the course of program, you will have an awesome opportunity to have fun and explore faith with others your own age.
We thank their parents and sponsors for supporting their Decision to say YES to their FAITH!
